1.What are the key areas that your school needs to address in its marketing plan?
The main thing that my school needs to address in its marketing plan is to have a marketing plan. To have a marketing plan, however, the school needs to define what we are, who we serve, and what value to provide.
2.What are the most important opportunities that can be capitalized in your school’s marketing plan?
The most important opportunity for the school is to systematically develop a marketing plan. At the moment we are doing things ad hoc with no knowledge of its necessity or effectiveness. I think the opportunity is there to stop and ask ourselves what we know and if there is information we don’t know, ask how are we going to find out what we need to know?

3.What is your school’s value proposition?
The school’s value proposition is that “We Empower Students”. This may or may not be true, but we have no data, qualitative or quantitative, to support this claim, leaving it to be perceived as an empty promise. I think we could demonstrate that we do empower students by supporting and celebrating our student's achievements through social media and within community events.

4.What is the key thing I have learned today?
I think the two things that have stuck with me the most from today are that marketing is the responsibility of everyone in the organization and that it needs to be managed in a systematic way.
